FAISAL GILL DOMINATES WITH OVER $500,000 IN FIRST FUNDRAISING REPORT

Progressive LA City Attorney Candidate Faisal Gill Announces More Than $500,000 in First 2022 Fundraising Report

LOS ANGELES, CA -- In a powerful demonstration of his campaign’s momentum in the race for LA City Attorney, today progressive local civil rights attorney Faisal Gill announced that his campaign had surpassed more than $500,000 in the first fundraising period for the 2022 election.

Gill’s robust fundraising announcement comes on the heels of a plethora of progressive endorsements from progressive luminaries, including Congressmembers Ilhan Omar, Karen Bass, and Ro Khanna, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, as well as State Senator Sydney Kamlager.

Upon announcing his fundraising accomplishments, Gill released the following statement:

“I’m immensely proud and grateful for the broad and extensive support we've built in this people-powered, grassroots campaign for LA City Attorney from community organizations, local leaders, progressive elected officials, working families, young people, and many more. Today’s fundraising announcement illustrates that as LA’s City Attorney, I will only be accountable to the priorities of everyday Angelenos, not the City Hall establishment or other special interests vying for influence. In the weeks and months ahead, I plan to continue raising the resources we need to run a competitive, robust and effective campaign that ensures our message of accountability and justice for all gets out to every corner of Los Angeles. Together, we can bring critical reform to the LA City Attorney’s office.”

Previously, Gill formally announced his campaign for Los Angeles City Attorney by releasing a video ad titled "Do Better”. To view "Do Better", click here.
